Introduction to Stained Glass Workshop

This workshop is a 1 day course starting at 10am and runs to 4pm Saturday or Sunday as scheduled with the instructor.
Each student will get to choose a simple pattern to use, we have several to choose from, to learn how to make a copper foiled stain glass project from start to finish.
All Tools and Glass are provided in the cost.
Overview you will learn how to:
- Transfer your pattern to the glass you are working with
- Proper technique scoring and breaking glass.
- Pinning and grinding glass to fit the pattern
- Applying copper foil to the glass
- How to use flux gel and a soldering iron to apply solder (60/40) to the copper foil
- Cleaning flux off your project
- Applying Patina and finishing your project
If you’d like to sign up for a Stained Glass Workshop and get started in this beautiful art form that will require bandaids.
We remind students that glass is sharp and require you to wear closed toe shoes while in the studio. We will provide safety glasses.
